I would run your Ant-virus pronto. If you do not have one you can get AVG for free.

I would also run Ad-aware and Spybot (both free for your inner cheapskate)

I would also recommend having a good firewall (Zonealarm is a good free one)

Good luck and it doesn’t hurt to use the compressed air to blast out all those dust bunnies mating by your CPU.
